Tuesday 9th January 2018 @ 1230pm Derek Miller Court, Newland Street West, Lincoln, LN1 1RB (Off Carholme Rd) Elderly care home slide show and singalong in large hall. Limited car park at the venue, but there is 2-hour n-street parking . AVOID THE RESIDENTS’ bays as the local traffic wardens are very strict.

Monday 15th January 2018 @ 7.00 for 7.30 finishing at 9.00 pm. for elderly people who have had strokes. Civic offices, Fen Lane, North Hykeham, Lincoln  LN6 8EY.  (looks like a private house on Google Earth) Plenty of parking for all band members. BRING PROJECTOR BUT NOT SCREEN.

Saturday 17th February 2018 @2:30pm Nettleham Old School (the single – storey building on the main road opposite the church, NOT the village hall in the residential street where we played for W.I. ) elderly tea – party running from 2-5pm, we’ll play from 2:30 – 3:15 ish and then the band are welcome to stay and enjoy the refreshments which will be served and a table will be set aside for the band. Happy Birthday to Roz who will be 90. NAMES to JIM please so that he can let the venue know how many band members for catering & seating arrangements. DRESS CODE reminder – black & white

Saturday May 19th 2018 @ 7pm (arrive 6:30pm to set up) SEATED CONCERT Swallowbeck Methodist Church, Newark Road, Lincoln LN6 8RZ  evening concert to raise funds and awareness of Christian Aid’s work, on the final day of Christian Aid Week 2018. There are pictures of Swallowbeck Methodist Church on the website www.swallowbeckmethodistchurch.org which will give you some idea of the layout of both the church and the church hall. There are 16 car parking spaces in front of the church, and additional car parking is available behind the dentist’s surgery next door. Disabled access to the church is via the footpath on the right hand side of the building, and this door is also the emergency exit, so needs to be kept clear. The church hall, further down the footpath, is fully accessible, including the toilets.  programme of around 45mins, refreshment break of 30 minutes, then a second half of between 30 and 45minutes. There will also be a short audio visual presentation of Christian Aid’s work NB this is also the date of the royal wedding.

Sunday 27th May 2018 @ 1:45 set – up, begin performing at 2pm Boultham Park Bandstand for a single set of up to an hour with 1960s theme, following a solo female vocalist.  Access: There is ample free, level parking at the very end of Hall Drive, LN6 7SW, which is on the eastern side of the park, near St. Helen’s Church.  Hospitality: There will be a performer gazebo there is now a café in the park to buy other drinks and snacks if required. The café also has toilet facilities.

 Thursday 7th June 2018  @2pm  St Peter at Gowts Ladies Fellowship building off Sibthorp Street opposite church on the corner of Sibthorp Street and High street 2pm start Elderly  ladies to be entertained with 1 hour musical slide show SCREEN NOT REQUIRED. Parking – some on street one – hour free parking slots may be available but otherwise, parking is limited to pay and display in the city centre.

Saturday 16th June 2018 @daytime Dunholme Village Fete between 12 midday and 4 pm Holmes Lane, Dunholme LN2 3QT adjacent to St Chad’s Church

Holmes Lane (part) will be closed to traffic for the duration of the event as the road and gardens of adjacent property and the Church will be used.
The road will be closed from 10.00 to 6.00 pm to allow for setting up and removal of stalls. This is a well attended village event with local charities, clubs and groups fundraising

Saturday 30th June 2018 @2pm – 5pm  St Peter & St Paul Church, Owmby by Spital the Retreat – right opposite the Church, Church Lane Owmby-by-Spital LN8 2HN        Parking arrangements: Parking will be reserved for the band at the venue in a neighbours car park. If wet, the event will be held in the retreat. Audience – community all ages inc. families. Gazebo busking, buffet provided for the band when they require it.

Sunday 1st July 2018 set – up from 10am, 11am start playing Dunholme Lodge RAF museum Open Gardens Dunholme LINCOLN LN2 3QA  gazebo busking all day.

Friday 6th July 2018 @ evening seated wartime concert Woodhall Spa as a curtain – raiser for their 1940s weekend. The address of the Methodist Church is Iddesleigh Road, Woodhall Spa, LN10 6RB and is opposite the Cottage Museum. It has its own carpark and this will be available to the performers and an A-board put out to that effect. 20 performers, names to be confirmed with individuals at rehearsals.

Saturday 7th July 2018 @   2pm to 5pm  Pembroke Priory Academy (formerly Cherry Willingham Community School). School / community gala performance. More details to be confirmed nearer the time but the event will be on similar lines to the Galas held there in the past and which the band has played at previously. (The aim is to be bigger and better!)  the band will also be joined once again by children from the Primary School Ukulele Club and this year also the Pembroke Academy.

Saturday 11st August 2018 @ 8pm  The Ark Moor Lane North Hykeham LN6 9AB for Roy Gower’s 90th birthday party, selection of 60s / 70s hits, buffet & soft drinks for the band.


1st September 2018 @ 2pm Private party. Date confirmed. Details to be discussed at rehearsals.

Thursday 13th  September 2018 @2:15pm  Potterhanworth over – 60s club. The Pavilion is on Queensway, which is off Moor Lane, Potterhanworth. No screen required as there is a suitable wall.

Saturday 22nd September 2018 @ 11 – 4pm gazebo busking charity fundraising gala Middle Rasen Village hall & playing field Wilkinson Drive Middle Rasen LN8 3LD

Saturday 29th September 2018 @ 2:30pm  Washingborough Methodist Church, 2 Main Road, Washingborough, Lincoln, LN4 1AT. Raising funds fro Food In School Holidays project. There is parking at the side of the church but equipment can be off loaded at the front with vehicles then moved to the car park. We do have a screen for the words of songs to sing along and an AV system if needed.

Wednesday 9th January 2019 @ 2pm North Hykeham Blind Club, Methodist Chapel, Chapel Lane North Hykeham LN6 9QZ  There is parking at the chapel but not many spaces once all our volunteer drivers have arrived. If there is no room then the Co-Op car park over the road is available. The chairperson asked me to email you with the request that your members park on the grassed area to the left of the chapel as looked at from the street. As many of our elderly members are brought by volunteer drivers they need access to the car park to drop off and park
